Going ahead with the project

Message from Sabine Emmy Eller s.eller@i-iter.org

Dear Translators,

there are some news:

1.

The files are going to be used also in a mobile application therefore the
data we will work on will be structured as follows as soon as I added the
categories:
- one general file with all the terminology
- one file with classes mainly for primary school
- one file including primary school and secondary school
- one file including highschool and university level
- separate thematic files (very likely this will be needed for the mobile
phone version)
2.

We added further terminology to the data – some is on primary and middle
shool level (musical instruments and general terms) and some is on high
school level (ecology)
3.

The lines 19, 150, 301, 357, 358, 404, 859, 917, 1457, 1621, 1781, 1795,
1802 were filled or changed in contents. Some plurals were taken out as well
as some double entries. These are not lost, they are in the records to be
used in a second stage.
4.

The files changed re. the number of languages in one file (we reduced
them) so it will be easier to work on them. Below a list. If you wish to
have access to one of the files where you don't have it right now: please
just tell us.

So from here you can go ahead doing things as before. Please don't forget to
indicate who did what. During this and the coming week other languages are
going to be added.

Terminology comes from lists we get from students and partially from the
homework our kids do some also come from free/public domain online
ressources.

Like always we just would like to remember: each word counts.

Thank you so much for your help :-)
